As part of our library stock release, we have a very limited amount of this wine available. This wine has aged beautifully. The vintage of 2018 was slightly “wetter” than other vintages, which made it very labor-intensive until the harvest time. We had to constantly trim and mow the vineyard. This is our single vineyard Chardonnay, which is exclusively grown at Oak Estate. The wine has been fermented and aged in 30% new French oak barrels, which has mellowed the Chardonnay fruit characteristics and produced a full-bodied and rich wine. The flavours of nectarine, peach, and pineapple are well-balanced with a hint of citrus. This Chardonnay has a creamy and toasty finish.
